The Peterborough

A conversion of the former ‘Christchurch Teachers Training College’ into 37 inner city apartments. The neo-gothic grey stone street facades have been maintained as original and it is only within the internal courtyard that the extent of the project is realised.

Fulton Ross TA worked closely with the client, various secondary consultants,
local authority and contractors to skillfully weave into the fabric of the old building all the necessary structural and fire upgrading plus a myriad of services to create the 37 well planned and highly sought after apartments which overlook a serene grassed courtyard, beneath which is located a full underground carpark.

Tall conservatories with balconies above, articulate the brick walls and create a sense of community within this elegant development.
